
OLAIA LAMATA
MEZZOSOPRAN

Born and raised in Pamplona, she began her musical studies at the age of 4 and was a member of the youth choirs of the Orfeón Pamplonés from the age of 5 until she was 21 years old. At the age of 18 she began her professional singing studies at the Pablo Sarasate Professional Conservatory of Music in Pamplona as a student of mezzo-soprano Mercedes Gorría and won the End of Grade Award in her specialty. She studied Lyric Singing at the renowned Mozarteum University of Music in Salzburg with tenor Mario Antonio Díaz Varas, where she continues to study for her Master's degree. She has also received lessons from the world-renowned repertoire pianist and vocal coach Maciej Pikulski and the acclaimed mezzo-soprano Sandra Ferrández. She continues her studies for a Master's Degree in Singing at the aforementioned university.
